Magnetic flowmeter Heat meter is widely used in the modern world to measure fluid flow and energy in heating or cooling systems.
Magnetic flowmeters are based on the principle of Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction. When a conductive fluid flows through a magnetic field perpendicular to its flow direction, an induced voltage proportional to the fluid velocity is generated. It is the first choice for water and wastewater applications due to its high accuracy, low maintenance requirements and ability to measure a wide range of flow rates.
Heat meters, on the other hand, are used to measure the energy transferred in heating and cooling systems. The heat meter measures the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet fluid streams as well as the flow rate. By using the specific heat capacity of the fluid, the heat meter calculates the amount of thermal energy transferred between the flowing streams.
This meter plays a vital role in many industrial, commercial and residential environments. They ensure accurate measurement of flow and energy consumption, which contributes to efficient management and conservation of resources.


2. Flow Parameters:
2.1. Working Mode:
JY-LDE Series magnetic flowmeter Heat meter have three working modes: Heat Meter working mode, Cold Meter working mode and Heat & Cold Meter working mode.
Heat Meter working mode: default mode, measure on heat. “H” stands for heat. Cold Meter working mode: measure on cold. “R” stands for cold.
Heat & Cold Meter working mode: measure on both heat and cold. Measuring results display separately.


2.2. Measuring Pipe Size:
Cold and Heat meter sensor pipe size scope of JY-LDE Series is 10-2000mm.
10, 15, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 65, 80, 100, 125, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1200,1400,1600,1800 and 2000.

3.3 Sensors Connecting Type:
Split squared shells: squared shells hang on the wall, converters connected with sensor cable.


3.4 Sensor Requirement:
Sensitivity of sensor signal: under 1m/s, output 150µV~200µV;
For the meter, when using 125 mA current in excitation loop, 100Ω~110Ω resistance is applied. When using 250 mA current in excitation loop, 40Ω~60Ω resistance is applied.

Good elasticity and high breaking tenacity, good wearing resistance performance; resist common concentration acid, alkali and salt.

1.Max temperature of medium is 80C; 2.mainly used to measure water, sewage, slurry and pulp etc.



The chemical performance of PTFE is the most stable in all plastics, and resist boiling hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid aqua regia, concentrated alkaline and kinds of organic solutions; food degree;

Temperature of medium is -40C to 180C; mainly used to strong corrosive mediums like concentrated acid, alkali and sanitary mediums.




With excellent wear resistant property (equals to ten times of natural rubber); but bad acid and alkali resistant property;

Max temperature of medium should be less than 80C; used to measure pulp and coal slurry with middle strong abrasion.



Chemical performance is similar with PTFE, negative pressure resistant property is better than PTFE, food degree; price will be higher;

Used to industrial water, life water, sewage etc, with weak corrosion; apply to petroleum, chemical, metallurgy industries, and municipal and environmental protection fields;



With good corrosion resistance performance to all concentrations of hydrochloric acid below the boiling point; also resist sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid, organic acid and other non-oxidizing acid, alkali and hydrochloric acid etc.



Resist non-oxidizing acid, such as the mixture of nitric acid/chromic acid and sulfuric acid; and resist oxidizing salt, such as Fe3+, Cu2+ and other oxidizing agents like hypochlorite solution and sea water etc.


Resist sea water, kinds of chlorides, hypochlorite, oxidizing acid(including nitrosonitric acid), organic acid, alkali etc, but not resist purified reductic acid(sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid); Corrosion will reduce greatly when it has only oxidizing agent(like nitric acid and ionic mediums with Fe, Cu) in the acid.


Good corrosion resistant property, similar with glass; it could almost resist all chemical mediums(including boiling hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid below 175C), but not hydrofluoric acid, strong sulfuric acid and alkali.

A: Yes! The meter can display clockwise flow, accumulated flow and heat at the same time.

2. Question: Can this meter measure highly corrosive liquids?

Answer: Yes. It is an electromagnetic flowmeter plus a PT1000 temperature sensor. The parts in contact with the liquid are the lining and electrodes, as long as you choose the appropriate lining material and electrode material.
